The activity will begin at Mas de Pitoia with a breakfast at the “La Peixera” gastronomic space. Next, we will learn about the different groups of mammals, how they are studied, their ecological importance and what threats they have. We will go into detail and get to know some of the small mammals of the Sebes Nature Reserve, captured by totally harmless methods. We will mark them, we will study them and finally release them. We will also build a nest box for bats that you can hang near your home and watch them feed on mosquitoes. We will end the activity with a taste of Lutra, the Sebes Natural Reserve craft beer made of mint and licorice. Children will be able to enjoy a selection of artisanal ice creams.
The activity will be conducted by Arnau Pou, biologist of the Grup de Natura Freixe
